Dear Parents and Guardians,
Our school year is quickly coming to a close and we still have
so much to do! In order to keep track of all the upcoming
events I have included a calendar on the second page of this
newsletter to ensure you have all your dates on the calendar
and don’t miss anything!
As you know, we sent out classroom request slips before spring
break. Teachers will be creating new classes on June 8th and
therefore class lists will not be available until packet pickup in
July. Please DO NOT approach teachers and request
information on classroom placements. We do everything
possible to find the “right fit” for your child. If you ever have
any concerns about your child’s placement, be assured that I
will make every effort to address them. In addition, I would
like for you to know I have worked diligently over the past six
years to create a learning environment where all students
have access to amazing teachers that provide exceptional
experiences for children.
Thank you so much Halecrest parents and guardians! We
truly have a special school and I am looking forward to seeing
you at all our end of year events!

Wilson Surgery:
I wanted to let everyone know I
will be having another surgery for
my breast reconstruction on
Tuesday, May 12th. I am
expected to be out for at least
two weeks. During this time,
Mike Rossi will be our
administrative designee. Please
be assured we have put
everything in place so things run
smoothly. I will be checking my
emails after week one and will
be able to respond to you if you
have pressing concerns.
Otherwise, Mr. Rossi is ready to
serve and support you and your
children during my absence. It
has been tough being out for
these surgeries, but I know it is an
important part of my healing
process and getting over what
cancer has done to my body. I
forever appreciate all your love
and support.

VARIETY SHOW!
Our annual variety
show was a complete success!
It was great to
watch all our students sing and dance their
hearts out. If you didn’t have a chance to
attend, our Halecrest staff also put on a surprise
special performance to close the evening ~ a
synchronized swimming performance!!!
You
can catch it by visiting our Halecrest Facebook
site! You don’t want to miss this one:
www.facebook.com/HalecrestCV. An extra
special shout out to our five sixth graders for
hosting the event.
