work with children, young people and families within the Early Help part of the common
assessment framework.
Aims/Objective
s
The training covers practical application of tools and opportunities to discuss ways of
building relationships with families, empowering them to jointly assess their needs and
helping them all to identify how to move forward to achieve the outcomes necessary.
The training will cover tips for developing clear and measurable action plans and
guidance on the role of the worker who co-ordinates and support the family with the
plan. The training introduces the Early Help record and plan that we have adopted in
Swindon following review of our current CAF documentation and processes.
Each training session and follow up workshop is geared to a specific age range with
relevant case examples.
