Steve Hamrick has painted an original Zebra Oil painting for the Lake
Superior Chapter at Chapter President Dale Bruder’s request. The proceeds
from this item will be used to fund our ongoing educational teacher trips
to SCIF’s American Wilderness Leadership Schools in Iowa and Wyoming. It
is a one week experience in the outdoors learning about guns-archery and
the flora and fauna of our great country. The teachers then return to their
classrooms and pass on their experiences in the hope of getting our youth
interested in the outdoors. Bid this one up and help our education project.
COLORADO MATURE BULL BISON GUIDED BY JACK CASSIDY $6,500
Having roamed the Western Prairie for many years the native Buffalo or
Bison is a sought after and valued addition to anyone’s trophy room. This
5 day rifle hunt for a Mature Bull Bison is donated by Jack Cassidy, the
2015 SCI North American Professional Hunter of the Year. The hunt will
take place on the Plains of Eastern Colorado. This NOT a high fenced
hunt. Included in this donation for one Mature Bull is the head-hide-and
all of the meat. Neighboring rancher has a walk-in cooler and will assist in
processing the meat. All meals-lodging are included for the lucky buyer.
The Bison hides are prime on the plains in December and January, so
schedule your hunt with Jack during this time in 2015 or 2016. Bison on
this hunt will qualify for all Safari Club Awards and will be scored by
Jack, who is a Master Measurer for SCI. This is a rare and very unique
opportunity for one hunter, as the Painted Canyon Ranch has a very
limited supply of animals available. You will be housed at Jack’s Mule
Deer Camp and see some trophy deer and possibly some Bighorn Rams
and Elk as you search for your Bison Bull. Lake Superior Chapter has the
only donation that Jack has given this year and there are very few
openings left. Visit with Jack at his booth about this hunt and others
that are available.
