Sellers:
As inventory continues to decrease, we will shift into more of a “seller’s
market.” TAKE ADVANTAGE of this, as it will likely be short-lived and we
can expect to start shifting back by the end of June. Concessions are
common among financed buyers, so be prepared to pay those. Pricing has
remained relatively stable for over a year…please don’t expect the home
you bought in 2014 to be worth $50,000 more than you paid for it!
Buyers:
Inventory has been gradually decreasing, and you may find yourself in
multiple offer situation. So be realistic in your negotiation strategies!
Sellers are more negotiable than they were a year ago, but low-ball offers
will not win you any homes.
