GNACode Inc, is a biotech startup selling high end PCR machines across the globe.
They wanted to distribute the machines manufactured in their OEM facilities in Thailand
and Denmark through their worldwide distributor channel. It was important to have a
single software that could bring the customers, distributors, manufacturing and order
fulfilment together.
The major challenges that GNACode needed to address
were:
• Ability to receive orders online from anywhere in the world.
• Accepting orders on behalf of affiliate distributors and
transparently processing their commissions.
• The high priced premium product range was always
made to order and fulfilled from the nearest GNAcode
warehouse.
• Ability to handle different discount levels and commissions
offered by different distributors.
GNACode wanted to have
an eCommerce system
where they could setup
co-branded
stores
for
their affiliates easily. It
was equally important to
offer flexible discounts
for different affiliates. In
addition, every order had
to be fulfilled by the nearest
warehouse based on the
customer’s location.

Recognizing the challenge involved, GNACode reached out to Openlabs to find
if an ERP integrated to an eCommerce system like Magento would work for their
needs. Openlabs chose Tryton ERP and built a webshop powered by Nereid for the
following reasons:

1. Open source model allowed complete customization of the platform.
2. Affordable and cost-effective, and being cloud based allowed the solution to grow as
the business continues to grow.
3. Ability to setup affiliate co-branded stores in 3 clicks with a subdomain for each
affiliate.
4. Simple inventory management with multiple warehouses.
5. Easy and flexible payment modes ranging from credit cards to offline mode of
payments.
6. The flexible theming support of Nereid allowed GNACode to extend their existing
website design and branding in the webshop.

RESULT
Openlabs successfully implemented
the solution using Tryton and Nereid
within the time and budget of
GNACode.
The webshop design and layout
remained consistent with the
existing corporate branding of
GNACode.
The cloud based architecture of the
solution allowed GNACode to use
Amazon Web Services (AWS) to start
without any upfront investment.
