Crawford Avenue Construction Resumes
LINCOLNWOOD, IL – On Monday, April 20, all traffic on Crawford Avenue will be diverted to
the east side of the street, with one travel lane in each direction between Touhy Avenue and Devon
Avenue. This traffic pattern will remain in place for the remainder of the project. Major
construction associated with this project is scheduled to be complete in mid-August.
During 2015, the west side of Crawford Avenue from Touhy Avenue to Devon Avenue will be
reconstructed with new pavement, sidewalks, and street lights. In addition, landscaping will be
restored in the parkways and medians, and various segments of water main will be connected.
