Family-Friendly Tours
Book a private, interactive family-friendly tour of the de Young!
Explore the museum’s permanent collections and engage with art as
experienced docents lead your family through looking and drawing
activities. As part of the tour package, your group will receive one
complimentary copy of I ♥ Art: Guided Activities to Draw, Color, and
Design!, the award-winning children’s activity book based on the
collections of the Fine Arts Museums.
This tour is available for up to eight adult or child guests and is geared toward families with
children ages 4 to 12; the group must include a minimum of one adult at all times. Familyfriendly private tours are offered only on Saturdays and must be arranged at least four weeks in
advance; blackout dates may apply. Tours are usually 50 to 60 minutes long, and the fee is $200.
