Are you pregnant?
Register with VIHA’s Right From The Start program
early in your pregnancy.
The Vancouver Island Health Authority’s Right From The Start program provides public health
services to pregnant women, new mothers, babies, children and families. Our public health nurses
work closely with doctors, midwives, hospitals and First Nations nursing services to take good care of
you and your baby.
Registration is easy!

registration form.
PRINTED:
If you don’t have access to the internet you can pick up a registration form from any
VIHA Public Health Unit, or from your doctor or midwife’s office.
You can submit your registration three ways:

Your registration will be reviewed by a public health nurse who may call you to discuss what supports are
right for you. All women who register will receive an information package that includes Baby’s Best
Chance Parent Handbook.
