As a non-profit organization, sponsorships and donations are used to offset expenses required to produce the yearround celebrations. Volunteer Staff Seattle Pride is an organization made up of an all-volunteer board of directors. We would not be successful without the help of many volunteers who assist and support us throughout the entire year. We encourage anyone who wants to gain experience, socialize, have fun, and create community to participate and volunteer with Seattle Pride. Our Mission Create unity, honor diversity, and achieve equal human rights throughout our region and the world. SEATTLE PRIDE annually produces the Seattle Pride Parade, Pride Picnic, Pride Brunch, Seattle Women’s Pride, and – at last! – The Official Seattle Pride Guide. SEATTLE PRIDE & SEATTLE PRIDEFEST are two separate events held on the last Sunday in June in Seattle, Washington. While we are separate organizations, our goals are consistent: to connect the community and celebrate our Pride. 41 Years In the Making.
