WHO WE ARE & WHAT WE DO
Our Purpose
We coordinate and promote Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and
Transgender pride events in the Seattle area celebrating the
present, envisioning the future, and honoring the past.
As a non-profit organization, sponsorships and donations
are used to offset expenses required to produce the yearround celebrations.
Volunteer Staff
Seattle Pride is an organization made up of an all-volunteer
board of directors.
We would not be successful without the help of many
volunteers who assist and support us throughout the entire
year. We encourage anyone who wants to gain experience,
socialize, have fun, and create community to participate and
volunteer with Seattle Pride.
Our Mission
Create unity, honor diversity, and achieve
equal human rights throughout our region
and the world.
SEATTLE PRIDE annually produces
the Seattle Pride Parade, Pride Picnic, Pride
Brunch, Seattle Women’s Pride, and – at
last! – The Official Seattle Pride Guide.
SEATTLE PRIDE & SEATTLE PRIDEFEST
are two separate events held on the last
Sunday in June in Seattle, Washington. While
we are separate organizations, our goals are
consistent: to connect the community and
celebrate our Pride.

“One of the major focuses of the Seattle Pride Guide is to drive
editorial content with contributions from nonprofits and influential
individuals with stories that both engage our audience and offer
insight and structure for ongoing community involvement.”
Eric Bennett, Seattle Pride President The Seattle Pride Guide offers community members a "One Stop Shop" for everything Seattle Pride including event listings, local opportunities, and more. The Guide focuses on what is truly important during
the month of Pride and throughout the entire year - uniting the LGBT community. Included in the Seattle Pride Guide are stories from the community in unique voices not heard before quite
like this. The Seattle Pride Guide encourages participation, diversity, inclusion, and structure for which to
share all of our stories in a safe, inviting environment.
