BUS 5017 HUMAN RESOURCE CERTIFICATION: SHRM–CP/ SHRM-SCP
This course is designed to introduce key components of HR Management in order to prepare learners for success on the SHRM-CP, SCP exam.
The participants, who effectively engage this program, will work in a live course on a weekly basis to comprehend, analyze, and evaluate key
situations in order to master the assigned body of knowledge. Successful learners will establish themselves as a globally-recognized human
resource expert by earning the new standard in HR Certification: SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP™) and SHRM Senior Certified Professional
(SHRM-SCP™). Expand and test your knowledge and practical, real-life competencies in areas critical for HR career success

This course has been based on the following learning goals. By completing this course, you will:
 Understand each domain of the SHRM material by applying tools to maximize learning
 Analyze the SHRM material in relationship to your applied professional experience
 Improve your ability to evaluate HR situations based on national best-practices
 Master the HR content to pass situational based exams
 Meet the academic merits for comprehending, engaging, and recognizing HR terms, procedures, and practices

Organization
This 10-week, 13 session face-to-face course includes 10 weekly scheduled courses and 3 Saturday sessions. Attendance is required at all sessions.
There are no Saturday make up sessions. Follow the syllabus as provided. Note:
 It is the learner’s responsibility to line-up weeks of study with their specific course due to the multiple start dates, weeks, and locations for
this program.
