CALL TO WORSHIP
Psalm 29
L: Ascribe to the Lord, O heavenly beings, ascribe to the Lord glory
and strength.
P: Your name is above every name, O God, we will worship you
in the splendor of holiness.
L: The voice of the Lord is powerful; the voice of the Lord is full of
majesty.
P: May the Lord give strength to your people, O God, may the
Lord bless your people with peace.
L: Let us worship God!
*HYMN
“Holy, Holy, Holy”

*PRAYER OF CONFESSION
Source of redeeming grace and infinite goodness, in Christ we
pray for forgiveness. While you reach out to us in fellowship, we
turn from you in shame. We do not do what you command. We do
not proclaim your love. We seldom seek to serve others, as we
prefer our own way and our own comfort. We confess Christ as
Savior, yet obey him indifferently, if at all. Our discipleship suffers,
for we do not listen to your guidance. We are in need of repentance
as we confess our sins. Have mercy upon us, and grant us your
pardon. Amen.
*SILENT PRAYERS OF CONFESSION
*ASSURANCE OF PARDON
L: Sisters and brothers, let us work for the good of all and for those
in the family of faith. Believe the good news of the Gospel.
P: In Jesus Christ we are forgiven.
*CONGREGATIONAL RESPONSE
“Dona Nobis Pacem”
Dona nobis pacem, pacem. Dona nobis pacem. (2x)
("Dona Nobis Pacem" means "Grant us peace" in Latin.)
*AFFIRMATION OF FAITH
The Apostles’ Creed
I believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, and in
Jesus Christ his only Son our Lord; who was conceived by the Holy
Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was
crucified, dead, and buried; he descended into hell; the third day he rose
again from the dead; he ascended into heaven, and sitteth on the right
hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence he shall come to judge
the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Ghost; the holy catholic
church; the communion of saints; the forgiveness of sins; the
resurrection of the body; and the life everlasting. Amen.

Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom
