Exit customs hall and turn left. 2. At the far end of the hall, pass through rotating doors into the train station. The ticket office is on your right. Ask at the desk for a return card, valid for a month, it is cheaper than buying two train tickets for your round trip. 3. The journey to Lausanne takes approximately 1 hour and train departures are every 30 minutes. 4. The taxi journey from Lausanne train station to IMD takes approximately 10 minutes and costs CHF 13 (see map of Lausanne south). From Zurich airport The journey from the Zurich airport to Lausanne takes 2.5 hours. We advise you to take a direct or Intercity train. Duration of journey: 45 minutes. www.imd.org How to find us Page 2/4 GETTING TO LAUSANNE | BY CAR By car From Zurich (231 km), Bern (126 km) and Geneva Airport (61 km)  Take highway A1, direction Lausanne.  On the highway, follow Lausanne-Sud. From Basel Airport (200 km)  Take highway A2, direction Gotthard, Luzern, Bern  At exit 45, head to A1, direction Lausanne  On highway follow Lausanne-Sud. In Lausanne  At the end of the highway is a roundabout where you should drive towards 'Ouchy- Av. de Rhodanie'. Continue for 1km on Avenue de Rhodanie and you will see IMD on your left and an open parking lot on your right.  You can park your car here for CHF 10 per day. If you prefer covered parking, the navigation parking lot is 40m further down the road, directly opposite the Mövenpick Hotel.
