over 17 years in Corporate America working for industry leaders like ABC / Disney,
Gartner, Sprint, Time Warner Telecom and Digital River playing many roles that include
software / computer engineering, sales, marketing, datacenter operations / datacenter
design & executive management. Daren has earned degrees from Brown College in
Broadcasting Communications and the University of Minnesota in Communications.
Patrick Stump, President, Roka Security
Patrick Stump is the President and founder of Roka Security, a
computer security company located in Northern Virginia. In
his career, Patrick has worked for various entities in the
security industry, including Lockheed Martin, Northrop
Grumman, and highly specialized security companies including
Vulnerability Research Labs.
Patrick has been a key player in both red-teaming and security
operations with multiple branches and agencies of the United
States Government (USG), the military and commercial industry. Patrick Stump's software development ranges from embedded low level assembly to high level application
development in various software languages. Patrick’s experience in Operations with the
USG, as a Network Engineer and as an accomplished ”professional” network attack simulator or penetration tester, has allowed him to develop a keen understanding of how advanced threats attack government and corporate networks, and how to defend against
them. Patrick holds two Electrical Engineering degrees from Virginia Tech and University
of West Virginia.
