pilgrimage events in the area.
Matters of Faith: “God alone Is”
We simply cannot conceive the fullness of God’s divinity. Too often we settle for definitions when no
definition will suffice. We speak of God as being the first of all beings, when in fact God is Being itself.
Without Him nothing is or can be. Nor is God the accumulation of all that exists, for He is existence
itself and is from everlasting to everlasting. Though God can be perceived in all that is created, both
in the heavens and on the earth, God can never be fully perceived, for He transcends the created
nature of the Universe itself. It is only in eternity, when our earthly body has been transformed, that
we can begin to understand the height, the breadth and the depth of God: “A God merciful and
gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness” (Exodus 34: 5-6). (See
Catechism of the Catholic Church #210 – 213)

40 DAYS FOR LIFE NEWS: Palm Sunday marks the official end to the 2013 spring 40 Days for life
Campaign. Thank you all for your participation. So far during this campaign alone, there have been 423 babies
saved from abortion – that we know of!! This means that sine 40 Days for life began as a coordinated
campaign in 2007, we are now aware of…MORE THAN 7 THOUSAND BABIES and mothers that God has
spared in answer to many hours of prayer and fasting. …Many women and men with past abortion experiences
have stepped forward to begin post-abortion healing and recovery. …77 abortion workers have quit their jobs
and walked away from the abortion industry. …25 abortion facilities have completely shut down following
local 40 Days for Life campaigns. And this is undeniably God’s work…because sometimes, hearts and minds
can be changed without anyone saying a word. It is all the power of prayer and God’s grace! Celebrate with joy
this Holy Week all the lives that have been saved and transformed by your prayer and fasting. Thanks be to our
great and gracious God!!
