Introduction :
This workshop is organized to help the participants familiarize themselves with the dynamic trends of research
methodology which would shape their research work in the proper direction. It will address the skills deemed
essential for the successful research right from introduction to qualitative and quantitative research methods,
ethical practices in research and how to publish and approach for UGC grant. It aims to guide you in writing an
academic article and how to publish it in reputed journals.
Objective:
On completion of the workshop, participants will be able to:
Understand the nature and functions of research.
Understand the structure of an academic journal article.
Knowledge about ethical practices in Research.
Know the process of applying for UGC research grant.
Outline the major constraints on analyzing the data.

The Program Facilitator: Prof.Rameshwar Dubey,(D.Sc),PhD(Operations Management),MMS(Hons.)
Prof.Rameshwar Dubey is an Assistant Professor (Selection Grade)( Operations & Supply Chain Management
Group) at Symbiosis Institute of Operations Management ,Nasik. He is presently serving as Secretary of Asian
Council of Logistics Management and Executive council member of Society of Operations
Management.Prof.Rameshwar Dubey is a registered guide in the area of Operations & Supply Chain
Management with BITS Pilani, University of Petroleum & Energy Studies,CMJ Shillong and visiting scholar of
SDU,Denmark.
Beside teaching Prof.Rameshwar Dubey is reviewer of world reputed Journals like
IJPE,JSCM,JOSCM,IJSCM,AIJM,AJBM,IJCMS,IJIS and other reputed Indian Journals.Prof.Rameshwar Dubey has
published more than 10 papers listed in ISI,SCOPUS and SCIRUS and more than 15 papers in refereed indexed
Journals like EBSCO,CABELL,Google Scholar,REPEC. Prof.Rameshwar Dubey has authored one monograph and
one edited book and have developed two course materials in Logistics and SCM area for DLP of UPES.
Prof.Rameshwar Dubey is an Editor-in-Chief of Journal of Supply Chain Management System and Logistics
Today.Beside this he is an Editorial board member of IJIS, AIJM and other reputed journals.Prof.Rameshwar
Dubey is a visting professor to IIM Shillong, IIM Kolkata,IIIT Allahabad,MNNIT Allahabad.Prof. Rameshwar Dubey
is a recipient of Gold Medal from AIMS-IMT Ghaziabad for Youngest Researcher, letter of appreciation from
Emerald and shortlisted for Bharat Jyoti Award for exemplary contribution in academics. At present
Prof.Rameshwar Dubey is guiding over three PhD Scholars in SCM and Operations area and advisor to reputed
companies like Tega Industries and MSTC India.
