The annual spring meeting of
the officers and trustees of the St.
Lawrence County Historical association was held Tuesday afternoon, April 24, at the court
house in Canton with President
Lawrence Bovard of Ogdensburg
presiding
Among those p r e s e n t were

Mrs. Doris Planty, Mrs. George
Little, Miles Greene, Millard
Hundley and Harold Storie. Ed
Heim. vice president and Mrs.
Harold Jenkins, secretary were
also present.
David Cleland reported on the
finances of the association and
Mason R. Smith, editor of the
Quarterly, led a discussion in
regard to the magazine and it
was the opinion of those present
that more advertising would be
accepted in the future Stories
of historic interest in the county
will also be welcomed for future
publications

chairman, announced that the annual spring tour would be held on
June 9 when a visit would be paid
