Attorney, Lorraine D’Alessio has extensive experience in government policy and immigration. Born in Toronto,
Canada, she holds a US law degree from Southwestern Law School in Los Angeles, a Masters of Public Administration from
Queen’s University School of Policy Studies in Kingston, Canada, and a Honors Bachelor from the University of Toronto,
Canada. She is admitted to the State Bar of California and is qualified to practice immigration law in all 50 states. Her focus is nonimmigrant visas and immigrant visas for entertainers, executives and managers including O visas, P visas, EB1 petitions,
investors, and companies that are multi-national and domestic. She has represented clients throughout the United States and
around the world. She was a Ford Model and an actress and has extensive knowledge of the entertainment industry.
Attorney, Thomas Joy is a graduate of Southwestern University School of Law, Los Angeles, California and the College of
Business Administration of Loyola University, Los Angeles, California. He has practiced law in California since 1976. His practice
is limited to immigration and nationality law and concentrates on temporary and permanent business and employment related
visas for investors, artists, entertainers, musicians, actors, directors, producers and essential technical and creative personnel in
the motion picture and television industriesMr. Joy has been interviewed on television and has published articles on various
current immigration issues and has conducted seminars for corporations, law firms and professional organizations, both in and
outside of the United States. He travels throughout the United States and the world representing clients at USCIS offices and US
embassies and consulates. In addition, he advises and accompanies employers and recruiters on recruitment drives outside the
United States.
Attorney/CPA, Marc Gedeon is a graduate of Southwestern University School of Law, Los Angeles, and holds an
honours Bachelor of Commerce degree from Ryerson University, in Toronto, Canada. After developing extensive expertise in the
area of tax law, Mr. Gedeon started his own firm in 2006 with the goal of creating a boutique firm with expertise in the CanadianUSA cross border tax and financial arena.
He currently serves as the treasurer of Canadians Abroad Inc. in addition to serving as a Vice President and a board member of the
Los Angeles chapter of the California Society of CPA’s, which is the largest professional association for CPA’s in the United States.
