Developing A “To Do” List
Define your goals and priorities.
Apply the ‘three tests of time’.
• Test of Necessity (necessary vs. nice)
• Test of Appropriateness (who performs the task?)
• Test of Efficiency (Is there a better way to do
something?)
Create a Master Calendar
• Create a Calendar with a Year-long
Overview of Activities and Events;
• Create a monthly, or Short Term calendar
of “To Do” lists;
• Look Backwards! For example, if the
Good Teaching Conference is in March,
start planning one to two months earlier
(registration, hotels, and other costs)
