GMAS Enrolled Dealers Can
Turn “Wish Lists” Into Sales
From your dealership’s accessories link, consumers are
able to create a wish list of GM accessories which can
turn in to sales for you!
1. A consumer can add selected accessories to their
wish list online.
2. After accessories are added to their wish list, the
customer is asked to create an account (or just logs
in, if they already have an account) and saves the
selection(s) to his/her wish list. The customer can log
in at any time to view the contents of the list.
Internally, the primary Dealer contact will receive an
email alerting him/her that a wish list has been saved.
Anyone at the Dealer can be set up to receive the wish
list information as follows: go to Administration tab and
then to User Access tab. Select the user name and check
the box to receive internet leads and save.
The wish lists and customer contact information can be
viewed in your Fulfillment Desk log under Internet Leads.
Leveraging customer wish lists into sales and marketing
opportunities is an effective way to increase your profits.
Here are ideas for you to consider.
• Armed with exactly the accessories a consumer wants, you can contact the consumer with a discount or GMAScreated coupon to incent that customer to buy now.
• You now have the valuable information for future mailing or calling campaigns.
• Verify if the consumer has purchased a vehicle and use the opportunity to follow-up with the customer to offer an
incentive discount to come back in and personalize their new vehicle with their selected accessories.

June 3-5, 2011. Chevrolet was the title sponsor of the event this year and has sponsored this event with the
Hampton Roads Chevy Dealers LMA for the last 10 years. This year we went all out to accessorize the Chevy
vehicles on display. We were able to showcase Chevrolet accessories available for personalization, and for the
first time, we utilized Original Wraps on the Cruze and Camaro Coupe.
Featured vehicles included a Red Camaro Convertible with 21” wheels, ground effects and heritage grille.
This car literally became a photo booth for people visiting our display and dreaming about owning a Camaro
Convertible. The White Camaro Coupe (seen at right) had 21” wheels, heritage grille, blade spoiler, ground
effects and the original graphics flame hood in red. This car was the star of the display! Other vehicles included
the Silverado ½ Ton and ¾ Ton Crews. Both trucks featured three piece folding tonneau covers, bed liner, bed
rug, chrome 6” side steps, chrome door handles, chrome mirrors, exhaust tips and all weather mats. The White
Diamond Tahoe LTZ was a knock out with 22” Chrome Wheels and 6” Chrome side steps. The Cruze RS had the
Bow Tie original wraps graphic on rear fenders with side stripe along with silver grill and fog lamps. The Equinox
sported a Thule roof rack with kayak and chrome package.
Traffic during the 3 day event was steady with evening traffic picking up before the concerts. We registered
1600 people with electronic lead generation and completed over 300 test drives during the event even with rain
on Sunday. This was a 50% increase over last year. The Chevrolet Accessories beach balls and Chevy hats were
a big hit. We gave out over 500 beach balls at the exhibit and over 100 at the Beach Boys concert Saturday
night. Bo Reed, GM Events Manager, gave each of the Ride and Drive girls a box of beach balls to hand out at
the Darius Rucker Concert Sunday night. He said they were everywhere in the crowd and a huge hit.
We also promoted the Military Discount at two display areas along with the Military Camaro and Corvette
Performance Display. The local USO organization was very appreciative of our participation. They commented
that without Chevrolet’s support, this event would not happen and they sincerely appreciate our involvement. This
venue is a perfect fit for Chevrolet and GM Accessories.
