How to find us
How do Europe and Japan tackle the global
challenges of the 21st century? This question takes
centre stage in the 2012 European-Japanese Joint
Seminar, which is part of a programme for Japanese
students from Tokyo University.
Would you like to know more about the relationship
between Europe and Japan? Are you interested in
their role in the world? And do you want to
experience the atmosphere of an international
seminar with students from different countries?
The programme covers central aspects concerning
the European-Japanese relations and stresses their
individual as well as common interests. Among other
things the seminar includes lectures and workshops,
at which participants from Belgium, Japan and
Germany

discuss the perception of each other, the role of
Europe and Japan in building a global order as
well as the common challenge of sustainable
development and the European debt crisis with
renowned scholars and experts,

deepen their knowledge in multinational working
groups,

extend their intercultural understanding.
