Who is Eligible?
In order to be eligible for an IFMA Nashville Scholarship, applicants :

About IFMA Nashville:
The Nashville Chapter of the International Facility Management Association (IFMA) is a professional association who promotes the facility management profession to include outreach of
future young members who are interested in pursuing a career in the facility
management profession.
Program Objective:
The IFMA Nashville Scholarship Program was established to provide scholarships to undergraduate students of
Tennessee who aspire to make a career
in the facility management or related
field.
Scholarships are awarded on the basis
of merit and need. Applications are
evaluated on achievement/
accomplishments, financial need, involvement, letter of intent, resume and
recommendations.
Scholarship Value
IFMA Nashville will award two
$1,000.00 scholarships for the 2012
spring semester.




Must be a full time sophomore, junior, or senior; or enrolled in second
year of a community college program; or be enrolled (at minimum) in
second year of a certificate program
at any university as defined by your
university at the time of submission
and or receiving the scholarship
Must be enrolled in a facility management or related** field, in a degree curriculum, in an accredited
four-year bachelor (undergraduate)
program or in a second year of a
community college or college in a
certificate program.
May not be employed full time
Must have a minimum Grade Point
Average (GPA) of 3.0
We encourage applicants awarded a
scholarship to attend an IFMA
Nashville meeting and attend the
Scholarship Presentation Ceremony
either in person or via technology
Applicants may receive a maximum
of one IFMA Nashville Scholarships
as an undergraduate student.
**Facility related management field is defined as: facility management, construction
project management, engineering in facility
field, technology in facility field, and business administration.

Application Deadline: November 30, 2012
Students have sole responsibility for ensuring accuracy and compliance on the
application. Points assigned to each application category are defined at the end
of the application.
