Partner Program Benefits
Diamond Partners
The Talend Alliance Program for System Integrators has
multiple benefits designed to create a mutually beneficial
relationship for both Talend’s partners and Talend. The
following describes how to access and sign up for these
benefits.
Quote for a Press Release
As a Diamond Partner, you may publish a quote from a
Talend executive for your press release that announces
our partnership. To request the quote, please email
[email protected] and the Talend Program
Administration team will help you coordinate this benefit.
You are welcome to suggest a quote but please refrain
from publishing anything until you have received written
approval, and remember that Talend has total discretion
on the content of the quote.
In addition, our two companies may agree to issue a joint
press release. Once again, an email to partnerprogram@
talend.com will kick off the coordination of this benefit.
Four Web-based Training Classes for up to 8
Students OR 120 modules of On-Demand Training
(ODT) - as available.
Classes range from Talend Studio Basics to Talend ESB
and Talend Big Data. Please write to partnerprogram@
talend.com or work with your Channel Account manager
to identify the classes or ODT modules that will best fit
your needs and schedule. Additional training sessions
may be purchased separately using your partner
discounted rates.

Thirty-Two Certification Exams
To take a certification exam, you should first take the
applicable training course. When you are ready, you
may take an on-line certification test, which will provide
immediate feedback. To sign up for an exam, please
email [email protected], and we will help
you get registered.
Twenty Hours a Quarter for Consulting Services via
LiveExpert
You’ve been trained now, and maybe even certified. But
sometimes questions arise. When you join the Talend
Alliance Program, the main business contact of your
organization will receive an email that tells you how to
access our LiveExpert system. This system allows you
to chat with a Talend expert, who, if necessary, can
take over your screen to help you. This service can
be used for all types of questions, including one-onone mentoring. However, it is not meant for customer
questions or projects. Additional consulting hours may
be purchased separately using your partner discounted
rates.
Technical Shadowing
At the discretion of Talend management, you may
request that one or two of your consultants shadow
a Talend technical resource as he/she implements a
Talend project. To access this benefit, please email your
Channel Account Manager.
Access To Roadmap
Diamond partners have full access to Talend’s product
roadmap. Please speak with your Channel Account
Manager to access Talend’s product direction.
Advisory Board
At the discretion of Talend’s management, Diamond
partners may sit on Talend’s Customer Advisory Board.
Please speak with your Channel Account Manager for
more information on this benefit.
Talend Sales Material and Tools
Sales playbooks, webinars on how to sell specific Talend
products, information on product updates and other sales
and marketing material can all be found in My Talend,
Talend’s partner portal. This confidential material is
constantly updated, and enables you to promote and sell
Talend products to your clients.
Success Stories Published
If you have had a successful project implementation and
would like to promote it, please email partnerprogram@
talend.com and we will work with you to publish and
share your success story.
Professional Services Augmentation
Often, Talend will bring professional service assignments
to partners. Such assignments are determined by region,
vertical expertise, product expertise, and reputation.

Influencer Fee or Market Development Funds for
Lead Generation
Partners who bring new opportunities to Talend can be
rewarded with Market Development Funds or can be
paid an influencer fee. Both policies can be found in
My Talend, Talend’s partner portal. Please read these
policies carefully and if you believe that you are eligible

to participate, please speak with your Channel Account
Manager and he/she will work internally to make sure
you are awarded appropriately.
Executive Sponsor
As a diamond partner, you will be assigned a named
Talend executive who will help you shepherd strategic
initiatives and opportunities. If you are not sure who
your executive sponsor is, please contact your Channel
Account Manager and he/she will identify that resource
for you.
Joint Business Plan
For certain large accounts, Talend can work with you
to identify areas of convergence, in order to increase
opportunities for both companies. Please speak with
your Channel Account Manager to embark on this
analysis.
Twenty NFR Keys
To begin the process for obtaining your Not-For-Resale
license keys, please speak with your Channel Account
Manager. He/she will make sure that you receive the
email which contains your NFR license keys and the
instructions for downloading Talend software. Your NFR
Talend license will allow for 20 people to access the
software at any one time.
