Chippenham Fen is located close to the village of Chippenham in Cambridgeshire.
The reserve is accessed via a gated track off the Chippenham - Snailwell road. The entrance is
immediately south of Park farm and follows the route of the footpath shown on the map.This is a
dangerous corner so you are advised to drive past Park farm toward Snailwell then turn
round in the lay by at the end of the strait and return to the entrance travelling toward Chippenham.
As you approach the gate, slow down and it will automatically open. Proceed through the farm
yard, past the cottages to the reserve base. The owner of Phantom Cottages has requested visitors
do not exceed 10mph past her home.
The post code for sat nav is CB7 5QB - please note this is approximate and will not get you
actually to the NE office.
The reserve telephone number is 01638 721329. There is poor mobile phone network coverage in the
area so you are advised to ring this number.
