TRAVELING WEST ON KINGSTON PIKE turn left at Peters Rd. traffic light (Town & Country
Shopping Center is on your right). Continue about 1/3 mile to STOP. Go through STOP and around
slight bend and over the railroad tacks. You will pass Ebenezer United Methodist Church on your
right. Shortly after you will come to Westland Drive (lots of construction!). Turn right onto Westland
and travel about 1-2 miles - school will be on your left.

Just after Black Oak Ridge, you will come to a street on your right; this is Brown Gap Road, but

is no street sign. There is a gas station on this right comer. Turn right onto Brown Gap and

miles. Turn left onto Ballcamp Pike. Go 1.3 miles. Amherst Elementary will be on your right.

FROM THE WEST take 1-40 to Cedar Bluff Road exit north. Go through light and to STOP. Continue through
STOP around curve and go to next STOP. Wiegel's is on your right comer, this is Fox Lonas Rd. Turn left
onto Fox Lonas and continue to light. Turn right at light, this is Cedar Bluff Rd. (We've taken you around the
traffic due to construction.) Follow Cedar Bluff .2 mi. to the intersection at Middlebrook Pike. There is a STOP
sign there. Turn left. Follow Middlebrook about 2.0 miles. School is on the right at the intersection of Ball
Camp and Middlebrook Pike.
TRAVELING WEST ON OAK RIDGE HIGHWAY turn left onto Ball Dr. (This is approximately 16 miles and will
be the first left after you pass Schaad Rd). When you cross the railroad tracks the roads name will change to
Ball Camp Pike. Travel approximately 4 miles to an intersection with Middlebrook Pike. The school is on your
right.

FROM NORTH, EAST, OR SOUTH take 1-640 from North, 1-75 to 1-40 from the East and South, 1-75 to
1-40, exit Papermill exit. Turn left onto Papermill (go back under interstate). Take Papermill to first traffic light
(get in left-hand lane). Turn left onto Northshore Drive. Proceed to Kingston Pike. Turn left onto Kingston
Pike. Go past Bearden Center. Driveway for Bearden Elementary and KAEC is between Jim Gray Gallery
and West End Antique Market. The first school you pass is KAEC. Continuing left on the circle drive the
second school is Bearden Elementary.
IF YOU TAKE KINGSTON PIKE follow the directions as stated above. From the east, turn right. From the
west, turn left.

FROM DOWNTOWN AREA TO BROADWAY take 1-275 North until you come to exit 1 B-W Baxter
Avenue (under overpass). Exit to the right onto W. Baxter Avenue. Stay on W. Baxter Avenue until
you come to Beaumont Avenue. Turn right onto Beaumont Avenue. (Road will start curving to the
left.) Stay on Beaumont Avenue until you see the school on your right.
IF COMING FROM THE WEST take 1-40 East. Exit at 1-275 North and then follow directions as

right onto Martin Mill Pike. There is a convenience store on the corner. Follow Martin Mill (it's curvy)
about 1-1/2 miles; Bonny Kate is on the right. You'll see a beautiful log home on the right just before
you see the school.

College Lane. The middle school will be the first school you come to. The elementary the second.

Turn left on Pedigo. Pedigo is a winding, snaky road; be careful After 6 miles, you'll see Long Hollow Road to
your right. Continue to the next intersection and turn left on Brushy Valley Rd. As you proceed, you should
see Copper Ridge Elementary on your left (atop a slight hill).
1-75 NORTH TO RACCOON VALLEY RD. EXIT. Turn right on Route 170 W (Raccoon Valley Dr.) to Diggs
Gap Road. Turn left. Go to Connor Road (1.7 miles) turn left. Go over bridge to Brushy Valley Dr. Turn right.
School is on your left This is a long route to the school!

TAKE 1-40 EAST TO 1-640 to the Washington Pike exit (same exit you take to go to East Towne). Use the
left-hand lane as you exit and turn left at the STOP sign. Turn right at the next STOP sign. You're now on
Washington Pike. 'Follow this road forever! You'll pass Ritta School, House Mountain Market, and will think
you're going to North Carolina. Be patient - turn left at Corryton Road - school is on a hill on your right. Allow

be a Johnson Bible College sign) and turn left. Follow this road about five miles; it becomes Kimberlin Heights
Road. The school will be on your right. If you come to a dead end or a river, you've gone too far! During the
five miles you'll pass Finger Road (right) and Swaggerty Road (left). Allow about 20-30 minutes from
downtown Knoxville.

come to Shannondale Road (Shannondale Presbyterian Church on the right). Turn left on Shannondale Road
and continue until you come to Shannondale School. School will be on your right.

FROM THE EAST take 1-40 west. Take first Rutledge Pike exit you see; you'll be heading east. Travel to

Asheville Highway. Follow 1-2 miles. At the top of an incline you will turn. Arrow Company is on your right; a
chemical company on your left. Turn left; you will face the Little White House Day Care. Turn right. Follow

TAKE CHAPMAN HIGHWAY SOUTH and turn left at Woodland Pike (BP station and Greystone
Presbyterian Church on left). Pass the Woodlawn Apartments and turn left on Ellis. Ellis will bear right and
turn into Tipton Avenue. The school will be on your left. It is immediately past Dogwood Elementary
School. This site also houses the Teacher Center.
