The U2 underground will take you from Munich’s central
station (Hauptbahnhof) directly to bauma in less than
20 minutes. During the entire fair, i. e. from 19–25 April 2010,
the U2 departs every three minutes during peak traffic and travels
to “Messestadt West” and “Messestadt Ost” stations.
You can also take the suburban train to bauma. Take the
S2 to “Riem” station. From there it takes approximately
15 minutes to walk to the West Entrance of the fair following
the signs along the walkway. Or you can take the S4 to Trudering
and transfer to the U2 underground line.

From the airport
to bauma 2010
Airport shuttle: You can take the shuttle bus from
the Munich International Airport (Terminal 1 and Terminal 2)
to the New Munich Trade Fair Centre (North Entrance) for
EUR 7.50 (one way) or EUR 12.50 (round trip). It departs every
30 minutes during the fair.
Take the airport suburban train S1 to “Feldmoching,”
then transfer and take the U2 to the trade-fair centre
(“Richtung Messegelände”).
If you prefer to take a taxi to the trade-fair centre,
they are available directly in front of all terminals. If you want
to take a taxi from the New Munich Trade Fair Centre to the
airport, taxi stands are located at all entrances to the fair and in
front of the ICM. The flat-rate fee for all direct trips is EUR 51.

If you drive to bauma 2010 by car, all major access roads have a
modern traffic-guidance system and signs that will guide
you to the trade-fair centre. The traffic-guidance system will
show you the best way to get to the various parking areas
at the New Munich Trade Fair Centre.

not your navigation system.
