1. Secure bottom retainer A
onto surface of finished floor
using (3) three 2” roundhead
screws.

surface or (4) four 1/4”#20x5/8”
flat head machine screws for
metal surface.

*Once the strike has been installed and adjusted, drill
and tap two (2) #10-24 round head machine screws
*When using door silencers on the frame decrease D
by silencer height e.g. [ 9/16” less silencer height ]
* For “GLASS BEAD” shims, increase D by the shim
height e.g. [ 9/16” plus shim height ]

INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO INSTALL THE CYLINDER ON THE LOCKABLE MULLION
1. Loosen the Cylinder Lock Screw,
making at least five turns.
2. Push the Cylinder Lock inwards.
3. Install the supplied Cam to the Cylinder.
Assemble the MCCR3812 (Cylinder Compression
Ring) with the cylinder on the Mullion.
4. Turn cylinder clockwise (13 to 14 turns)
while at the same time pushing the latch down.
Release latch after final turn. Make sure latch
moves freely. Otherwise ± 1 full turn.
Note: Make sure position of the cylinder
cam points upwards towards the latch.
5. Tighten the Cylinder Lock Screw.
For Interchangeable Core Housing, follow
step 1 thru 5. Install Core on the cylinder housing
before step 4 to prevent misallignment of
the cylinder cam.
