By train
We are 3 miles from Oxford railway station, with its
frequent trains from London (Paddington) and many other
parts of the UK. Allow 15 minutes by taxi from the station
forecourt and 30 minutes by bus number 5, changing at
Queens Lane to the 15.

By coach
The “Oxford Express” (X90) and the Oxford Tube operate
frequently 24 hours a day to and from central London,
stopping in Headington Centre and at Gipsy Lane, about 15
minutes walk.
By air
Oxford is well placed for airports in London and
Birmingham. London Heathrow is about 70 minutes by
bus – Airline Express X70. There is also an Oxford Express
X80, to London Gatwick. These services stop in Headington
Centre and Gipsy Lane.

The nearest park & ride car park is Thornhill, on the A40
1 mile east of Headington.

Service 600:
Thornhill to the NOC.
Serves all Headington bus stops between the
Park and Ride and the NOC and circulates
through to the Churchill site – stopping at
the old (east) main entrances, Sobell House
and OCDEM. It runs Monday to Friday,
between 07:00 and 19:00 approximately. The
frequency is every 20 minutes.
Service 400:
Thornhill – Seacourt via City Centre.
Stops in Headington centre and on
Headington Road at Gipsy Lane, about 15
minutes walk from the NOC. Monday to
Saturday day time frequency is every 15
minutes.
Service 700:
Water Eaton to the Noc.
Stopping in Summertown, JR, Churchill and
the NOC. Runs Monday to Friday between
07.00 and 19.00 approximately.
The frequency is every 15 minutes.
City – Old Road – Girdlestone Road – Wood Farm
Catch the bus at Castle street in Oxford City Centre.
Get off in Old Road and walk through to the NOC.
Runs every 10 mins. Journey time 12 minutes plus 5
minutes walk.
From north of Oxford
2A,B,C,D, Summertown towards the City or 7/7A to City
Centre (High Street) and change to 15.
From east of Oxford
600 serves all Headington bus stops between the Park and
Ride and the NOC and circulates through to the Churchill site. 
It runs Monday to Friday, between 7am and 7pm; journeys
take approximately 10 minutes and costs £1.60 return
– parking is free.
8, 7, 7C from Barton; 8A from Risinghurst; 280 from
Aylesbury, Thame and Wheatley; 400 from Thornhill Park &
Ride. These services stop in Headington.
From south and south east of Oxford
U5 from Cowley via The Slade to Girdlestone Road.
