high-end supermarket and retail chain
based in Hong Kong.
 Targeting busy urban professionals, the
Group’s international gourmet food market
offers fresh food – including vegetables,
meats, poultry, cheeses, wines, sake,
groceries, snacks and spices – sourced
from different parts of the world.

Challenges
 city’super’s product portfolio consists of fresh
perishable items, such as frozen and chilled
fresh food that easily rot, decayed or degraded in
quality when exposed to unfavorable
temperatures, thereby posing risks of financial
losses for the company and food safety for
consumers.
 city’super has been using data loggers to
monitor the temperature of food imports during
shipment from overseas to Hong Kong

freight journey
