How to Register the TAKS / STAAR Summer Academy Before registering for TAKS/STAAR Academy, you must have the student’s last name and their CCISD student local ID. This information is used to validate the registration. Go to the district website: www.ccisd.net, under the Parent section, click on Summer Information The link will take you to the Clear Creek Independent School District Web Store. Click on the STAAR and TAKS Academy button. Register for TAKS/ STAAR Summer Academy Page 1 The next screen provides registration for both TAKS and STAAR Academy classes. Click on the either button depending on what test you need a review on. On the next screen, click the link for STAAR Academy (6) to view the six STAAR Academy classes that are being offered or click the link for TAKS Academy (5) to view the five TAKS Academy classes that are being offered Depending on which button you clicked on it will take you either to the six STAAR class options for review and their class date(s) which are listed on this screen or the five TAKS class options. Please note there is a 10 day class and a two day test review for each subject area except the online compass class which is a continuous 12 day review. To register for a class click on the blue subject name for the class you wish to register for. Register for TAKS/ STAAR Summer Academy Page 2 On this screen, you are able to read information pertaining to the class and/or register for the class. To register for the assessment, click on the link The ‘Sign In’ screen will appear. If you or the student has never used this website to register for CCCISD courses (or assessments), you or the student will have to create an account. Continue to next page. If you or the student already have an account, you will complete the right side of the screen and click Register for TAKS/ STAAR Summer Academy Page 3 Creating an Account Click on Complete the information on the screen to create an account in the CCISD Web Store. Be sure to record your password for future reference. Once the information has been entered, click continue. Register for TAKS/ STAAR Summer Academy Page 4 On this screen, the student’s name must be available under participants in order to register the student for an assessment. If the student’s name is listed under participants, click the radio button in front of the student’s name. Complete the information on the registration page. IMPORTANT: This is where the validation for student’s last name and CCISD local ID will occur. Click if the student needs to register for another TAKS / STAAR class. OR Click if the student has registered for all of the TAKS / STAAR classes they wish to take. When continuing to shop, ensure you click on the Register for TAKS / STAAR Academy Page 5 If the student’s name is NOT listed under participants, the student will have to be added as a participant. Click Enter the student’s First and Last Name, Gender, and at least one phone number. The address will populate according to the information in the account that was created. This does not have to be changed. After the information has been added, click add participant. The student’s name will now appear as a participant in your account. Click the radio button in front of the student’s name. Complete the information on the registration page. IMPORTANT: This is where the validation for student’s last name and CCISD local ID will occur. Click if the student needs to register for another TAKS / STAAR class. OR Click if the student has registered for all of the TAKS / STAAR class they wish to take. Register for TAKS / STAAR Summer Academy Page 6 STAAR Academy -STAAR Academy (6) When continuing to shop, ensure you click on the appropriate Academy TAKS Academy -TAKS Academy (5) Once the student has registered for all the TAKS /STAAR Courses they wish to take during the Summer Academy, continue through the checkout process. Once you click on Complete Order, a receipt will appear on the screen. PRINT THIS RECEIPT!! It is the only document that indicates the course the student is registered for.
