How to create your
own Roamer mat?

You will need:
You may need:
• An enthusiastic class
• C lear Mat Grid 868 014 085 – If you want to use your
Roamer on the mat we recommend you use this product
over the top of your design.
• Computer/Laptop/Tablet
• Microsoft Paint Programme (or similar)
• Tape
• Pencils
• Paper
Instructions:

F irst discuss as a class what you will design on your
Roamer mat.

O nce finished click file and save as and choose a
file name, then click ok.

T hen draw a design for each square on the mat
using the template provided.

T o print the picture select file, print and ok.

R epeat these steps to complete the other squares.

O nce all squares have been printed use tape to
carefully tape them together on the back of the
pictures.

P lace the Clear Grid Mat over the top of your
finished design to navigate your Roamer around
your mat!

S tart up the computer and open Microsoft Paint
Programme and click on the image and then
attributes button on the tool bar.

W
hen the box appears change the size of the width
and height to 20cm x 20cm and click ok.

ow create a picture for the square following
your design.
