Take Junction 4 signposted for Walkden, At 1 roundabout take 1 exit and then at 2

roundabout take 1 exit again, signposted for Walkden onto the A6 Manchester Road.
Continue along Manchester Road going straight ahead at 1st set of traffic lights (you will pass
Little Hulton Shopping Precinct on the right hand side), carry on straight along Manchester
Road East and you will come to another set of traffic lights with the New Albion Public House
on the corner of Hilton Lane on your right hand side. Continue straight through the lights and
Walkden Methodist Church is approximately 200 yards on the right hand side. Turn right, just
before the church, into Ellesmere Avenue and there is a large Car Park at the rear of the
building on the left.
From M61 (Towards Manchester)

Take Junction 4 Sign posted for Walkden, at 1 Roundabout take the Third exit, at 2

roundabout take the 1 exit signposted Walkden. This is A6 Manchester Road.
Continue along Manchester Road going straight ahead at first set of traffic lights (you will
pass Little Hulton Shopping Precinct on the right hand side), carry on straight along
Manchester Road East and you will come to another set of traffic lights with the New Albion
Public House on the corner of Hilton Lane on your right hand side. Continue straight through
the lights and Walkden Methodist Church is approximately 200 yards on the right hand side.
Turn right, just before the church, into Ellesmere Avenue and there is a large Car Park at the
rear of the building on the left.

From M60 (towards M61& M62 Leeds)

Take Junction 13 sign posted Worsley, Leigh, Boothstown. At the first roundabout take the 2
Exit onto Walkden Road, signposted for Walkden. (You will pass the Marriot Hotel and Golf
on the left hand side).
Continue along Walkden Road and you will come to a set of traffic lights just after the Public
House. Continue straight through the traffic lights onto Walkden Road (you will pass Salford
College on your left). When you come to the small roundabout carry on straight ahead onto
Memorial Road (Walkden Train Station is on your right and when you get onto Memorial Road
Pet Medics will be on your right). Continue along Memorial Road and you will come to another

set of traffic lights. You need to take the 2 turning on the left onto High Street (you will pass
a row of shops on your left) continue straight along High Street onto Manchester Road (you
will see McDonalds & KFC on your Right), continue straight ahead and Walkden Methodist
Church is located next to the New Inn Public house on your left. Carry on pass the pub and
immediately past the Church and take the next left onto Ellesmere Avenue, there is a large
car park at the rear on your left.
From M62 (from Leeds)
Take Junction 15 signpost for Leigh, St Helen’s and follow the slip road onto the East
Lancashire Road. As soon as possible cross into the outside lane on the East Lancashire
Road. At approx 0.4miles, you will come to a major traffic light junction, which you need turn
left at the lights onto Walkden Road. When on Walkden Road continue straight and you will
pass Salford College on your left. When you come to the small roundabout carry on straight
ahead onto Memorial Road (Walkden Train Station is on your right and when you get onto
Memorial Road Pet Medics will be on your right). Continue along Memorial Road and you will

come to another set of traffic lights. You need to take the 2 turning on the left onto High
