OUR SERVICES
H
ygiene services
Our hygienists work closely with the dentist to
prevent and treat gum disease. They meticulously
remove the tartar that can build up around teeth
as well as teaching and motivating patients to
develop efficient home care to maintain healthy
gums.
T
eeth whitening
Teeth whitening is a predictable and easy way
of lightening the colour of your teeth. The whitening gel is worn in custom-made trays for a number of evenings and reverses the yellowing of the
teeth that occurs with age. We offer Opalescence,
one of the leading tooth whitening systems.
T
eeth straightening
We offer orthodontic treatment for children
(NHS and private) and adults (private). In addition to traditional fixed braces, we also provide
the very latest designs of discreet removable and
fixed Social 6 braces. We can now treat mild/
moderate crowding of the front teeth in as little as
12-24 weeks and it is suitable for all ages.
N
atural coloured fillings
Unsightly metal fillings can be replaced by
natural coloured fillings to improve the look of
your smile.
C
omposite bonding
Composite bonding is the process whereby
white filling material is bonded to natural teeth to
change its shape and colour. This is an especially valuable treatment method where tooth
structure has been lost due to wear, such as acid
erosion.
P
orcelain veneers
Veneers provide a wafer-thin covering to hide
discoloured, worn or misshapen teeth, and to
close unsightly gaps.
C
rowns and bridges
Worn, unsightly or heavily restored teeth can
be covered with natural looking crowns. Spaces
can be filled in with bridges using either a conventional or more conservative adhesive design.
Advances in ceramic technology allow these
restorations to appear very natural and less likely
to show a dark line around the gum margin.
D
entures
We offer a full range of denture options to help
achieve the most natural individual appearance.
G
rinding/clenching guards
We offer night and day guards to reduce
teeth clenching and grinding, thus reducing the
side effects from this common problem e.g. tooth
wear, sensitivity, headaches and jaw joint ache.
A
nti-snoring devices
We fit custom-made anti-snoring devices that
prevent the lower jaw from dropping back during
sleep. This reduces the closure of the airway - an
effective anti-snoring remedy.
I
mplants
We liaise with a local specialist who can place
implants under our referral.
If you would like more information about any of
the services that we offer at the practice, please
speak to a member of the dental team. We also
provide in-depth literature from the reception and
