Most students describe their study abroad program as Ôthe best
experience of my lifeÕ. Step out of your comfort zone,
experience the great Queensland lifestyle, discover Australia and
continue working towards your degree through the GrifÞth
Study Abroad Program.
GrifÞth has bilateral exchange partnerships with more than 220
institutions worldwide providing students from partner
universities with an opportunity to spend one or two semesters
at GrifÞth and for GrifÞth students to undertake study overseas.
GrifÞth University has Þve campuses located between Brisbane
and the Gold Coast in southeast Queensland, a beautiful,
subtropical part of Australia and one its major tourist
destinations. GrifÞth is a comprehensive university offering
studies in most disciplines, allowing you to Þnd the courses you
need and complement your studies at home.
GrifÞthÕs Study Abroad & Exchange team provides dedicated
support to study abroad students on all campuses, ranging from
application assessment to orientation and full support during
your time at GrifÞth.

As a student from the U.S., I felt that GrifÞth University
was the perfect Þt. It had a diverse group of students
from all across the globe, and suited my academic goals.
Studying at GrifÞth University was an absolutely amazing
experience. Before this experience, I was afraid of new
responsibilities and opportunities; but now I Þnd myself
searching for them.
To Þnd out if your institution is a GrifÞth exchange partner
please visit vvv-fqheÝsg-dct-`t.hmsdqm`shnm`k.dwbg`mfd. If
your institution is a GrifÞth partner and you wish to apply for an
exchange place at GrifÞth, please talk to the Exchange OfÞce at
your university.
If you are an exchange student, all of the information in this
brochure is relevant to you other than the program fees.

While studying abroad, I enrolled in more courses than my
average schedule in the US, knowing that this was a once
in a lifetime opportunity, and didnÕt miss a class. The Music
Production students, teachers, and professionals that
attended our lectures were all as eager as I was to learn
from each other. This was more than a classroom
experience, it was a musical achievement in my career. I
continue to use the production knowledge I acquired in
Australia everyday in my job and in my solo music career
as well.

The year I have been studying here at GrifÞth University
(Gold Coast Campus) has deÞnitely been one of the best
in my life so far; both academically and socially. I have
found the general staff at GrifÞth very helpful and friendly
and the same is to be said about the lecturers and tutors. I
lived in the Southern outskirts of Surfers Paradise most of
my time here and it has been a fantastic place to live. I
recommend studying at GrifÞth University to anyone who
loves the beach, sun, travellingÉand of course a university
taking care of its students!

QueenslandÕs subtropical climate is close to perfect, with mild
winters and warm summers. Temperatures typically average
between 21¡C and 32¡C in summer and 9¡C and 20¡C in
winter. Southeast Queensland offers a wonderful range of
attractions from the magniÞcent beaches to pristine rainforest
and unspoilt national parks.

With its relaxed, outdoor lifestyle, Southeast Queensland is one
of AustraliaÕs top tourist destinations and provides a vibrant,
safe, multicultural environment.

Brisbane offers all the advantages and facilities of a modern,
multicultural city that is home to more than 1.7 million people,
as well as proximity to the Gold and Sunshine Coasts. The city
wraps around the Brisbane River and is host to a great music
scene, major sporting events, an amazing array of cultural and
performing arts, and community events throughout the year.
The Gold Coast is well known as AustraliaÕs premier tourist
venue, with theme parks, wildlife sanctuaries, national parks,
and some of the best beaches on earth. The Gold Coast offers a
wide range of international cuisine and cultural entertainment
and residents are characterised by a wonderfully laid-back
approach to life.

With its multiple campuses, GrifÞth allows students to choose
between a city and coastal lifestyle, and provides easy access to
other parts of Australia and the Asia-PaciÞc region.
