MBOC would like to invite members of the public to
apply for limited partial scholarship awards for
pursuing tertiary education programmes being
offered by the college starting in January 2014.



The college offers Business, Accounting, HR,
Management, Media and Law related
programmes.
The qualifications range from Certificate to
Degree.
Degree programmes are offered in partnership
with UK, USA and Zambian based universities
as awarding bodies.
HOW TO APPLY
1) Getting an application form from the college

2) Return your completed application form with a
cover letter requesting for scholarship.
3) There is a K40 charge for the application and
processing costs.
4) Your award letter will be ready for collection
within 7 days from the date your application
was received.

Mukuba Business Open College is a social enterprise,
providing high quality and affordable tertiary education
for all Zambians.
BACKGROUND
The Zambian economy has been growing since
privatisation of the mines and is expected to do so over a
sustainable period of time. However a number of
zambians have not been able to access emerging
employment opportunities for a number of reasons such
as mismatch of skills, limited employable skills etc due to
lack of innovation among tertiary education providers or
the prevalence of atficial prohibitive barriers
to
mordernised tertiary training services.
MUKUBA BUSINESS OPEN COLLEGE (MBOC) as a social
enterprise is founded on the need for making the
provision of genuine and quality tertiary education
affordable to all citizens regardless of their background.

GUARANTEED 80% TUTION FEE SCHOLARSHIP /
BUSARY AWARD FOR 70 STUDENTS EACH YEAR
The college has a guaranteed 80% bursary / scholarship
award for 70 students who must belong to any of the
sectors: marketeers, famers, retail business, taxi and
mini-bus employees and the un-employed women and
youths.
The award is on first come first serve basis.
