Downloaded from: http://www.4shared.com/dir/LfFoCBq2/An_EasyDis_Machine.html First you should have installed the INPA 4.4.7 and Ediabas 6.4.3 because of some files missing or files that are different from the version we are now going to install. This could be found also at the 4shared site! When you have downloaded the files extract them and Mount the iso using Deamon Tools. Step 1 – Making the install work. Open the dvd and go to the Program installation folder. Rightclick on setup.exe and select Properties. And go to the tab Compatibality. Choose Run this program as, Windows XP service pack 3. Choose OK and run setup.exe Step 2 - Installing BMW Standard Tools Choose English as language and follow the screens that are prompted When you come across the screen for selecting the Available Hardware Interface choose STD:OBD When the next screen appears choose Com1 and if you are using a USB to serial adapter tick the box. Installation will ask you for previous installed folder of Ediabas and INPA, choose the folders. This should be C:\Ediabas and C:\INPA. Proceed the install and when asked to reboot computer, reboot your computer! Step 3 – Updating Go to the dvd and open folder Referenz then Install and run Instprog.exe. On the screen prompted choose OK then choose language and Continue Then choose C:\ as destination drive, this should not be changed! The choose BMW Group Rectification Programs UK for Europe, USA for USA Then choose update boxes next to Ediabas and INPA Continue with the installation and press End when finished. A folder will open, close this folder. Step 4 – OBDSetup.exe Then go to C:\Ediabas\Hardware\OBD and run obdsetup.exe, a screen similar like this should appear. If not you need to add some register values that are also in the downloaded file! Run OBDsetup registervalues Windows 7, when prompted to be sure this values should be added press Yes. Then run OBDSetup again to check if everything is OK now! Step 5- Ediabas.ini When you want to use INPA with DIS\GT1 you have to copy the ediabas.ini file from the downloaded file to C:\Ediabas\Bin. The settings in this file are: LoadWin32 =1 Interface =STD:OBD ;----------------------------------------------------------------------------; RemoteHost ; Description : server address/name ; Default = diaghead RemoteHost = 192.168.68.1 ;----------------------------------------------------------------------------; Port ; Description : IP communication port ; Value : 1000 < port < 30000 ; Default = Port = 6801 These settings should be correct if you are following the guide to installing DIS\GT1 that is also on the same 4shared site as where you downloaded this!
