How to register and use your education account
Philips Learning Center – anytime, anywhere
The Philips Learning Center offers flexible, continuing education (CE), designed
around you and your changing needs. Hundreds of online CE-approved
learning activities provide the variety, quality, and depth of learning that you
need, regardless of clinical focus or departmental role. Online learning activities
are available for nurses, radiologic technologists, sonographers, and other
healthcare professionals – with 95% participant satisfaction.
You now have access to your own Online Education Account which allows you
to meet your CE requirements. Read on to find out how to register and access
your account.

Accessing your account
STEP 1. Go to www.theonlinelearningcenter.com
If you have a Philips Learning Center account, please login with your
email and password.
After login, select menu "My Account" > "My Profile" and proceed to
STEP 4 to add your Account ID to your profile.
If you are new to the Philips Learning Center, you will need to
complete the site registration process. You can start by going to
the left side navigation menu and selecting "Registration" > "Create
Personal Account." You can also go to the Login box located in the
upper right corner of the home page and click "+ Create Personal
Account".
STEP 2. Email Address and Password
Enter your email address and password.
When this registration process is completed, the email address you
enter here will be used to send a confirmation email with a link to
validate the address and finalize your registration. If you did not
receive an email message from the Learning Center, check your junk
mail folder. If it is not there, contact your internet service provider
and make sure the email is not getting blocked.
STEP 3. Account Details
Enter account details such as name, address, and telephone.
Be sure your name is entered exactly as it appears on any license(s)
you hold. You can change your account information anytime. Click
"Next" when you are done.
STEP 4. Online Education Accounts
Enter the Account ID/Site ID provided to you.
If you cannot find your ID, click the "look-up my accountID" link.
This will open up a Account ID lookup window that will allow you
to search for your ID using your facility's name and address. You can
also contact the PLC Administration Team for assistance by phone
at 1-800-692-4295 and select 1 for The Philips Learning Center or
send us an email [email protected].

STEP 5. Memberships/Licensing
Enter memberships or license information.
For some organizations, more information may be required such
as membership number(s). If that's the case, a box will appear
requesting this information. If this page is not applicable to you,
please click "Next" or go to STEP 6, "Save my information."
STEP 6. Save My Information
Save your information and finish the registration process by clicking
the ‘Finish’ button. You will immediately receive an email with a link
to verify your registration. Be sure to verify your email address to
complete your registration.
Now you are ready to add learning activities to your account, study,
test and obtain your CE.

Add a learning activity to your account
•Search for the sponsor or accrediting agency you want
•Check the number of credits; this is the amount that will be
deducted from your Online Education Account
•Click the "Get It Now" button to obtain your credits through your
Online Education Account
•All learning activities are available to complete for up to 6 months

Continuing Education Certificate
View your Certificates
To view your certificates select "My Account" > "My Certificates"
from the menus on the left. Find the course you're looking for in
the completed course list, then select the certificate link and your
certificate will be displayed. Click the "Print Certificate" button to
print, or the "Return" button to go back to the "My Certificates"
page.
Get your detailed CE Report
It's just as easy to get your individual detailed CE Report. Select "My
Account" > "My Certificates" from the left menus. Then click on
"Detailed CE Report for (Your name)" to view your report. You can
view your report on screen or click the "Print Version" button to
display your report in a printable format.

Help Desk Support
For your convenience we also provide an online Help Desk Support
portal. You can use the portal to quickly search our Knowledge Base
to find answers to common questions. When the "Live Chat" button
displays "Online" you can start a live chat session with one of our
expert help desk specialists. Visit the Help Desk portal by selecting
"Help" > "Help Desk Support" from the left menus.
