How to extract SAP table data
with Xtract PPV into PowerPivot
We start the Xtract PPV Designer. Click Connect (1) to connect to
the local Xtract PPV Server. Click New (2) and select SAP Table as
extraction type to create a new extraction.
Enter a name for the extraction (3)

Test the connection (2)
Click Ok twice to continue (3)

The Data Source dialog opens
Open the Look Up dialog (1)
Fill in the table name (2) and click to search the table (3)

Select your table (1)
Click OK to confirm the selection (2)

The meta data is automatically fetched from SAP
Now select the fields you want to extract (1)
Optionally you can set a Where Clause in the text field (2)

Open the settings dialog (1) and fill out the settings (2)
In this example we only want to extract 100 rows

Click OK to go back to the Designer Main Screen (1)

Click Run to start the Run Dialog (2)

Click on Enable to confirm the Security Notice (1)
