In order to access this route, you must do the following at your end before your arrival at the conference. Ethernet access is provided in each of the Dormitory Rooms. Ethernet adaptor cards need to be installed in your laptop and configured before the conference. You should also bring ‘straight through – RJ 45 cable’ to plug into the Ethernet connection. Before Leaving Home… Make sure that you have all travelling documents required (passport or visa) before making your journey to Hamilton, Ontario - Canada. Clothing and Spending Money: We would like to suggest that you bring casual apparel (blue jeans, shorts, sweats), as all courses and social functions are informal - business apparel is optional. In the event that it might be a little cool in the evening, a light sweater or wind breaker would be sufficient. Folks have asked us how much money should they bring with them for the week, and this, of course, is a personal preference. It has been recommended that you allow yourself about $40.00 to $50.00 per day for your breakfasts, lunches and the odd dinner you will need to purchase. Local Weather Conditions: June through August are the summer months where the days are warm with an average temperature of 25.2C (80F). There is also a running track near the residence. The David Braley Athletic Centre is our campus physical education complex that is available to all workshop members. It offers squash, racquetball, swimming, tennis, volleyball, badminton, etc. There is a fee for participants to use the facilities. Passes can be purchased at the Front Desk of the centre.
