Registration will be accepted if seats are available, the registration deadline has not passed, and all prerequisites have been met. Spaces will not be held without a registration form and/or payment. Receipts will be sent if a valid email address is provided. SCA is not responsible for receipts that are not received. Students/ Campers under 18 MUST also provide a parent/ guardian signature. GENERAL SUMMER CAMP INFORMATION: Summer Camp is open to campers ages 5-14 only. Camp instructors will select age appropriate projects based on the theme of the camp session. Additional care will be offered during each camp session. There will be a fee for late pick-ups. SCHOLARSHIPS: There are a limited number of scholarships available for our summer camp program. the Education Director at 770.394.3447, extension 229. Contact GROUPING REQUESTS must be submitted on the registration form. Friends must list one another and be within a two (2) year age range. We do not guarantee placement. CAMPER DROP-OFF AND PICK-UP: Walk your child into the Spruill Center on the first day of camp. Carpool information is available at www.spruillarts.org and through the camp staff. There will be a fee for late pick-ups. COURSE CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS Changes/cancellations initiated by a student will incur an administrative fee and MUST be accepted by an SCA employee 3 business days (M-F 9 to 5) before class or by the published registration deadline. Administrative Fees range from $10-$20, based on the cost of the course. The Spruill Center reserves the right to refuse/cancel registration, change or cancel any class for any reason. Students will be notified in the event of a course changed or cancelled by SCA as soon as possible. No refunds, transfers, and cancellations after a course has begun or beyond the registration deadline. Emergency/Medical refunds may be available at the discretion of The Registrar with documentation. Memberships and donations are NOT REFUNDABLE. Monies will not be held as a credit for future use. Previously retained fees will not be refunded. SUMMER CAMP SPECIAL ADDENDUMS All cancellation policies listed above except: All changes/cancellations must be confirmed by an SCA employee at least two (2) weeks prior to the start of the camp session for which your child is enrolled. SPECIAL WORKSHOPS SPECIAL ADDENDUMS All cancellation policies listed above except: Deposits are not refundable under any circumstances. If there is no deposit, the deposit will be considered as $100 of the total. Emergency/Medical refunds do not apply to deposits. The administrative fee for special workshop cancellations before the two week deadline is 15% of the total amount paid over and above the deposit. No refunds, transfers, and cancellations after a published registration deadline/ balance due date, and/or no later than two weeks prior to the first day of the workshop. INSTRUCTORS SCA general education instructors are independent contractors. Instructor contact information may be available by request. Summer Camp Instructors are SCA employees and are drawn from the public & private school systems. They are subject to a background check at the state and federal levels. ILLEGALLY PARKED VEHICLES will be towed at the owner’s expense. P E T S are not permitted in the building, unless required due to visual impairment.
