How to cut the HHG50 & HHG100 SMD LED Task Light to a custom size
These lights can be cut every section of 3 chips as shown. There is a pair of chips with a black
mark between them followed by a single chip. The pattern then repeats over the length of the
light. A straight cut between the chips as shown will allow you to cut these lights to any size
required. There is a small black dot which indicates the cut line on the strip light.
The lights are easy to cut using a miter box and a hacksaw to ensure a straight cut. End caps,
gasket and screws are provided to finish the cut lights. The cut piece you have left is also a
working light and can be used elsewhere.
CAUTION: If you cut in the wrong place you will damage the circuit board and the light will not
light. Move on to the next set of 3 chips as shown and cut again. LED Lights Canada assumes

pre cut your lights to dimensions provided by you for a nominal fee per light.
