WELCOME TO SPS EZpay
What is SPS EZpay?
SPS EZpay is the website application that allows RRCSD parents to pay for school fees with
a credit card over the internet. Parents can access the website from links on our main
school website, or by typing www.spsezpayrockyriver.com The only thing they need is an
email account and their student’s ID number to register!
How does it work?
RRCSD parents can access the EZpay website whenever they are on the internet. From the
website they can pay school fees. When they make a payment, they receive an email
confirmation that the payment has been made as well as the opportunity to print out a
receipt of their payment. These payments are sent to the school each weekday night, so
that their systems can be updated with the parent’s payments. We do not update on
weekends. After we update the student’s account, we send this information back to SPS
EZpay, so the next time the parent logs in, they will see their payment reflected as well.

HOW TO LOG IN:
RRCSD parents go to www.spsezpayrockyriver.com They can either type this
in their browser, or click on the link from the district’s main website. They will
be presented with the login screen below. If they are a returning user, they
need to enter their email address and their password. If they have forgotten
their password, they can click on the link to have their password mailed to
them. This can take 5-10 minutes, and parents should wait to receive the
password before trying to access their account again.

NEW USER REGISTRATION:
RRCSD parents are first presented with a welcome page. This gives them
general information about the website before they continue with the
registration process.
After reading this page the parent clicks on the Next button to continue.

SPS EZpay Registration
Welcome to SPS EZpay!
SPS EZpay is a secure and convenient way for parents to pay for their children's school fees
and/or make prepayments to meal accounts from your home or office with a Debit/Credit
card. There is no cost to register, browse the website, or check account balances. All you
need is an email address and your child's account number(s). If you do not know your
children's account numbers with the school, please contact the school directly to obtain
these numbers. Payments may take up to 2 school business days to post to your children's
accounts.
There is a fixed fee of $2.99 per SPS EZpay transaction (no matter what the dollar amount
of the charge) that will be charged along with your credit card payment. The fixed fee
covers the cost of processing payment transactions via credit card. The total fixed fee will
be displayed prior to completing any payments on our website.

After registration, when the RRCSD parent logs into the system, they will be
taken to their payment center. This is the main screen where they can review
their children’s accounts and make payments towards them.

To make a payment on a child’s account, the parent simply clicks on the
Student’s name. From the payment center page, the RRCSD parent can always
go back to their account to change their address, or add and delete students
they wish to make payments on.

HOW TO PAY FEES:
After clicking on the student’s name, the RRCSD parent is presented with a
screen where they can pay fees. To pay a fee, they should select the fee they
wish to pay from the list presented, or they may pay the all by clicking on the
total amount due, and then click the Add to Payment link. The amount will
be displayed below and the shopping basket updated with the total amount
they are going to pay. If they change their minds, they can click the Remove
“X”.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
1. I don’t remember my password. Parents can ask the system to send them
their password in an email message by clicking on the “I forgot my
password” link on the login/registration page. The system will send them
their password and they can use this to log in. This email can take up to 5
minutes to reach them.
2. I asked for my password, but I never got an email? Does the parent use
spam-blocking software? If so they need to allow email messages from
[email protected]
3. I made a payment, but I didn’t get an email receipt. Again, some parents
have email accounts that use spam blocking, or they may have their email
account set up in a way to block all incoming email, except that which they
approve of. If this is the case, they need to allow email from
[email protected] If they do this, their email receipts should begin to be
delivered to their accounts. They can also log back in at any time to look at
their payment history, by going to the MY ACCOUNT link.
4. My credit card keeps getting denied. SPS EZpay has no control over the
authorization of credit cards. Parents should check with their issuing bank if
they believe the credit card should have been authorized. But the billing
address they entered on their profile must match with the billing address on
the credit card. If you get many parents saying they are having difficulty in a
short amount of time, there may be a problem with the website. Please
contact Technical Support, and they will contact us at SPS EZpay.
5. What is the security code on my credit card? The system uses the CVVS
security code on the credit card. It is a 3 or 4 digit code, depending upon the
type of card used. The website has a link to show parents where their code is
located. If the parent does not know this or enters an incorrectly, their card
will be declined. This code sometimes fades and becomes difficult to read,
again, they should contact their bank for help with this.
6. How do I change my email address on my account? Because the email
address is the same thing as User ID and this is how we identify users on our
system, a parent cannot update just their email account. If they want to use
a different email address, they should go through and re-register using their
new address. If they would like us to mark their old email account as
disabled, they can send us a note to [email protected]
7. Do I have to enter my credit card every time? Yes… The SPS EZpay
website does not store any credit card numbers for any reason. Parents must
enter their credit card every time.
8. I can’t get the system to let me register, or the web page won’t work for
me. SPS EZpay uses both cookies and java script. Parents must use a

browser that will allow both of these. If they don’t allow cookies or java script,
they will not be able to use SPS EZpay. ** Parents who use Apple/MACs, may
or may not have problems depending on which browser they are using.
TROUBLE SHOOTING TIPS:
1. I can’t remember my password. Did they click the link to request that the
password be sent to them? They should wait 5 minutes to receive their new
password and follow the instructions to log in. If they haven’t gotten an
email, do they have spam filters? If so, they need to allow email from
[email protected] If they are still having problems have them contact us
at [email protected] and we will be happy to help.
2. How do I add a student to my account? The parent may maintain their
account once they have logged in, by clicking on the My Account link on the
top right side of the web page. They can add or remove children, or change
their address.
3. How do I change my billing address? Please use the My Account link on
the top right side of the page to change your billing address.
