Fundraising 2013-2014 6th Annual Minnesota Taekwondo Association Raffle & Carnival Competition Teams: Sparring $650, Poomsae Team $300, Demo Team $300, Ultra Team $200, Weapons Team $200, TLC Sparring Team $200 (Must be under 10 years old on 12/31/2013) l Please Fill Out a Team Information Form, 1 for Each athlete & request raffle tickets if you want to sell them. l You can sell $5 raffle tickets. Any raffle ticket sold gets you the full $5 towards your required team fees. MTA Provides the Raffle Tickets, Prizes, and Permit. You get 100% towards your goal. l If you are not interested in selling the raffle tickets, just simply write a check for your required team fees.. l Or you can do a combination. Sell some Raffle Tickets and Make up the Difference with a Check l EACH athlete will also need to donate a $5 or more gift card. These gift cards will be instead of the many raffle prizes we were seeking in the past years. Any Way you Do it, the Donations are Tax Deductible as the MTA is a Non-Profit Raffle tips: Ensure they are completely filled out (can use mailing labels) Make checks out to MTA, Money & tickets must be turned in by October 25th, 2013, (your Dojang rep may require you turn in your tickets earlier so then can get them in by the deadline) if you need more tickets contact your Dojangs Team Representative. The drawing will take place at WTA Maple Grove on November 1st 2013. Do I have to sell raffle tickets? No this is just a tool we provide to help you raise money, you can always make your required team fees yourself Do all Dojangs participate in this fundraiser? No, Osseo, Coon Rapids, North St. Paul and White Bear Lake do their own Fundraisers. All other Dojangs must participate. I am on more then one team do I need to raise the minimum for each team? No, just the highest team fees. If you are on Comp Sparring, and Demo you would just need to raise $650. Carnival, & Silent Auction October 5th, 2013 10:00 am-2:00 pm Maple Grove Dojang Come Join us for the Fun! Come out and support the Minnesota Taekwondo Association. We will have a dunk tank, carnival games, food, raffle (Top Prize $3500 Trip from Delta Vacations), silent auction, Taekwondo Demonstrations, a moon walk, special appearances and tons of fun. l Each Dojang is responsible for providing a minimum of one Silent Auction Basket. If you have donations towards your Dojangs basket or want to donate one of your own please see your schools parent rep. l Each Dojang is responsible in providing staffing and getting prizes for carnival games.
