How to store measurement setups to USB flash memory device
After completing setting up the measurement condition, you can store the system setting, which is the measurement
setup, to any attached USB flash memory device by the following steps.
Step 1.
Attach a USB flash memory device to the USB port on the B2961A/B2962A front panel.
Step 2.
If you aren’t on the top of the Function menu, press

repeatedly to return to the top level.
On the top level of the Function menu
Any tree structure can’t be seen
In the middle level of the Function menu
Some tree structure can be seen

, and then press
to open File Selection dialogue.
(1) Press File
(2) Press Save
(3) Press Config
Step 4. Select the folder in a USB flash memory device which the data file should be saved into. For example, select
DeviceB folder.
(1) Press and rotate

(2) Press OPEN to open DeviceB folder

to fix the folder
Note) Any folder in the USB flash memory device can’t be created with the front panel operation of the
B2961A/B2962A. The folders must be created on your own PC in advance.
Step 5.
Specify the saved data file name.
(1) Rotate and press
File Name field
to select
Alphabet input mode
Numeric input mode
(2) Enter the file name such as “DATA”
(2-1) Press “3(D)”
(2-2) Press “2(A)”
(2-3) Press “8(T)”
Insert or Delete
(3) Press
(2-4) Press “2(A)”
Current input mode
(4) Press OK to save the data
to fix the file name
Note) The file extension for the system setting files is “.sta”. If you don’t specify the file extension, “.sta” will be
added to the file name automatically.
After finishing storing the measurement setup, you can remove the USB flash memory device from the USB port.

How to load measurement setups from USB flash memory device
The system setting files stored into the USB flash memory device can be loaded to the instrument by the following steps.
Step 1.
Attach a USB flash memory device to the USB port on the B2961A/B2962A front panel.
Step 2.
If you aren’t on the top of the Function menu, press
