Paying the membership fee
To get the full access to the membership benefits of ECSS you need to pay the membership fee. Go
to your ECSS account and scroll down the account page to the section myMembership
administration.
The payment can be done with
following international transfers:
Fees: ECSS Student member 50 euros, provide a valid international student identification
document to [email protected],
ECSS members 100 euros,
ECSS Fellows (FECSS) 100 euros.
The membership does not prolong automatically but expires at the end of a calendar year.

Contains all scientific contributions of ECSS congresses from 1996 to present.
The scientific contributions are free to download for all ECSS members through myECSS account.
Search engine helps to locate the contributions of interest by choosing specific congress, topic,

6 The European Network of Sport Science (ENSS)
Provides a network for the members to communicate with each other about chosen sport science
related topic. ENSS includes three platforms for communication:
First platform is ECSS members’ Directory
With this tool member can search specific person through the ECSS member database and contact
the person in question.

To be part of the ENSS database a member has to be subscribed to ENSS. This happens automatically
when joining ECSS, however if member wishes to unsubscribe him/herself from the list it is possible
through myECSS account.
By unsubscribing member will not be able to use the members´ directory, nor will members’ data be
available via the ENSS. When unsubscribing, member is also not able to use members’ Forum.

7 European Workshop of Sport Science (EWSS)
EWSS offers educational workshops to members. Workshop meetings are held annually during the
ECSS congress and the aim is to support scientific work and research in the field of sport.
The workshops held during the annual ECSS Congress require a registration which can be done online

11 Young Investigators Award (YIA)
As a member of the ECSS you have an opportunity to take part in Young Investigators Award which is
distributed annually within the ECSS Congress.
Participation to YIA requires:
-
registration to the annual Congress,
the work must be original or accepted for publication at the time of the abstract submission
deadline,
the research must be sport science related, innovative and solid.
Applicant must be:
-
under the age of 32 at the time of the Congress
PhD student or equivalent or graduated PhD less than 2 years ago
Submit the YIA verification form before the deadline of the abstract submission of the congress.
YIA is sponsored by Mars Inc. and is aiming to support young, up-coming scientists. The scientific
work is presented in the annual congress and jury consisting ECSS Scientific Board and ECSS scientific
Committee grants the award based upon the oral and poster presentation for the top ten
presentations respectively.
