What is the Kincaid Elementary Education Enrichment Campaign? The Kincaid Elementary Education Enrichment Campaign is a joint effort of the Kincaid PTA and the Kincaid Foundation to raise funds for education enrichment plans for Kincaid Elementary. The goal of this joint campaign is to meet or exceed both organization’s fundraising goal by October 31st, eliminating the need for additional major fundraising efforts during the 2014‐15 school year. Why a Joint Campaign? The Kincaid PTA and Kincaid Foundation both serve to improve Kincaid students’ educational and student development needs and experiences. Typically, both organizations host separate fundraisers to support their programs and goals. This year, the PTA and Foundation created a simpler fundraising experience for our families by minimizing fall fundraising efforts. Combining efforts also allows us to keep each and every dollar contributed right here at Kincaid raising more funds for our school needs. When Does the Campaign Start? Thursday, July 31st at Meet and Greet, located in the school cafeteria. You will have the opportunity to contribute and sign up to receive emails on campaign progress, as well as information on the programs your contributions will support. Where Does the Money Go? Funds will go to the Kincaid PTA and the Kincaid Foundation. Under the guidelines of National PTA, the Kincaid PTA facilitates programs throughout the year that benefit every student at Kincaid. The Kincaid Foundation was established in June 2010 to provide additional resources for Kincaid Elementary such as technology, additional staff members, a science lab and its newest initiative, a STEM lab. Both organizations play a vital role in providing educational enrichment for each and every Kincaid student. How Can I Contribute? The campaign has established the following donor levels: PLATINUM: $500.00 | GOLD: $300.00 | SILVER: $150.00 | BRONZE: $75.00 Donate at Meet and Greet to immediately receive your campaign car magnet to show everyone that you help Kincaid Elementary Shoot for the Stars! Checks can be made to Kincaid Foundation and dropped off at the Shoot for the Stars table at Meet and Greet.
