HOW TO ACTIVATE YOUR “TX FREE” PT AVENUE ACCOUNT
1) Go to www.ptavenue.com, and click the “TX FREE EDITION” link at the top of the screen;
2) In the “First Time Visitors” area, select your Council PTA (or your Area for independent Local
PTAs) in the dropdown list, then select your specific PTA from the second dropdown list;
3) Enter your Texas PTA ID Number and the Texas PTA password of
one voice
then hit ENTER;
4) Enter information about your PTA, including LOCAL dues share and other contact info, then hit
“Update Profile”;
5) Enter information about your PTA President, and create a login name and password for them, as
well as a security question/answer (this can be changed in the PROFILE later), then hit “Update”
6) You are in your newly-activated account! Start working in the PROFILE > HELPERS area to create
logins for the rest of your Board/Leaders, and enter your Board contact information in the
LEADERS area! You may also wish to a) purchase the FINANCIAL module, or b) upgrade to the
FULL version of PT AVENUE, through the links at the top.
