It will initially direct money to the Wesley Hill Sports Complex and the Castlemaine Hot Rod Centre, providing support and facilities for our young people, our families, our elderly and visitors to our region. The Wesley Hill Sports Complex is the home of hundreds of users every week covering football, basketball, netball, billiards, badminton, cycling, cricket, remote control cars, lifeball and little athletics. This aging facility desperately needs upgrading. The Castlemaine Hot Rod Centre will be a facility for all our community that will provide training for young people, entertainment and exhibition facilities and active retirement facilities for a wide cross section of our community.
