The Dynamic Media Transport System allows Horizon to print while

4. Three Collating Receive Trays
Horizon provides outstanding flexibility and ease of use. This
is well demonstrated by the imager’s collating tray setup and
features. Any media type can be sent to any of Horizon’s trays,
making it easy to sort prints any way you wish - by radiologist, by
modality or by department.
5. Smart Card / Zip Drive Technology
Horizon’s exclusive Smart Card technology stores all of the
imager’s internal settings. The Smart Card stores the personality
of your imager. All feature keys, network information and most
settings are kept on the Smart Card. If you receive a replacement
imager (available under certain warranty types - see page 6 for
more details), it is critical to remember to take the Smart Card
out of your old unit and insert it into the new one. In doing so, the
new Horizon will automatically update with all the settings of the
previous imager, providing instant uptime.
The Zip Drive, which is conveniently built-into the Horizon imager,

DICOM is never easy to manage. With a multitude of storage and
transfer options, the seemingly simple task of sending data across
a network can sometimes become a nightmare. Horizon provides
an easy solution by supporting multiple transfer syntaxes ‘out of
the box’ and with every syntax and storage class customisable,
configuring the Horizon for DICOM connectivity couldn’t be easier.
Furthermore, it offers added support for postscript, FTP and RAW

grayscale paper and colour paper.
