The Academy will be used by over 1,500 people per week from across the community. The Spartans FC will be the major user; others will be schools and colleges, youth groups and local businesses. Our community programme is well underway. In addition to our youth set-up, examples of our work include coaching and a breakfast club in local schools, an Adult Literacy programme and the football element of the Active Futures for unemployed 17 to 25 year olds. The project cost is c.£3.5m.
