As a result of this positve growth, in Febraury 2009 Base relocated to larger premises in Livepool Street, London, and Chris Bell joined the firm, complimenting the already established professional team. Nigel’s surveying background stretches back 15 years and includes a period of employment at Wilks Head & Eve, working alongside the senior partner who at the time was instumental in the development of the Party Wall etc Act 1996. Further experience was gained at Keningtons and at P.H. Warr where as head of Building Surveying London, Nigel was responsible for the successful delivery of projects across the Capital, the Midlands and the South Coast. Nigel is a Chartered Building Surveyor and member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. He regularly sits on the RICS assessement of professional competence panels for applicants wishing to become members of the RICS. Nigel has extensive experience in all aspects of commercial building surveying and has advised clients on properties throughout the UK. Chris started his professional training working for a Clerkenwell based Architectural Practice and gained subsequent experience in Project Management working for a Central London based FM agent before moving to a niche West End Surveying Pratice. Chris worked with Nigel at Keningtons for a number of years before moving to Tuckerman Commercial Ltd where he was a Director and Head of Building Surveying Department. Chris is also a Charterd Building Surveyor and a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
